    Description

Shills Professional Drill Bits 3/32" Flame S (M) is a versatile professional e-file drill bit designed to provide a balanced combination of precision, controlled filing, shaping, and moderate product reduction during artificial nail enhancement services. Featuring a slim, tapered flame-shaped working profile and a Medium (M) filing specification, this drill bit is ideal for technicians who require more filing efficiency than a Fine bit while maintaining greater control than a Coarse or Extra Coarse option.

The Flame S profile gradually narrows toward the tip, allowing the technician to work accurately around smaller areas, nail sidewalls, enhancement edges, and other sections where a wider barrel-style drill bit may be difficult to maneuver. At the same time, the broader section of the flame provides sufficient working surface for general shaping, leveling, and refinement of compatible artificial nail enhancement material.

Designed with a standard 3/32-inch shank, the bit is suitable for compatible professional nail drill machines and e-file handpieces. Its Medium grade makes it a practical everyday option within a professional drill bit collection, particularly for maintenance, reshaping, surface refinement, moderate thickness reduction, and general enhancement filing.

    Key Features
3/32" Standard Shank: Designed for use with compatible professional nail drill machines and e-file handpieces.
Flame S Profile: Slim, tapered flame-shaped design provides better access to detailed and narrow working areas.
Medium M Filing Grade: Offers balanced filing performance between Fine and Coarse drill bit grades.
Controlled Product Reduction: Helps gradually reduce compatible artificial nail enhancement material without the aggressive action of a Coarse or Extra Coarse bit.
Efficient Nail Shaping: Useful for refining the contour, thickness, and overall structure of artificial nail enhancements.
Sidewall Refinement: Slim shape helps technicians work more precisely around enhancement sidewalls and edges.
Surface Leveling: Helps smooth uneven enhancement areas and refine product distribution during professional nail services.
Versatile Professional Performance: Suitable for a variety of general e-file shaping and refinement procedures.
Balanced Cutting Action: Provides enough filing strength for efficient work while maintaining greater control during detailed procedures.
Useful for Maintenance Services: Helps reduce and refine existing enhancement material during professional refill or correction services.
Precision Working Profile: Flame shape offers greater maneuverability than broader bulk-removal bits.
Reduces Manual Filing Effort: Helps streamline shaping and refinement when used correctly with an e-file.
Professional Nail Tool: Suitable for trained nail technicians, nail salons, academies, and experienced e-file users.

    How To Use

Step 1 – Inspect the Drill Bit

Before use, check that the drill bit is clean, straight, undamaged, and suitable for the intended nail service.

Never use a bit that is bent, cracked, damaged, excessively worn, or producing unusual vibration.

Step 2 – Switch Off the Nail Drill

Ensure the nail drill machine is completely switched off before inserting, removing, or changing the drill bit.

    Step 3 – Insert the 3/32" Shank

Place the shank securely into a compatible professional e-file handpiece.

Lock the handpiece properly according to the nail drill manufacturer's operating instructions.

Step 4 – Select an Appropriate Speed

Begin at an appropriate controlled speed based on the material being worked on, the nail drill machine, and your professional e-file technique.

    Avoid unnecessarily high speed.

    Step 5 – Maintain a Stable Grip

Hold the handpiece securely and comfortably so that the drill bit remains under full control throughout the service.

Step 6 – Position the Flame S Bit

Approach the compatible artificial enhancement surface at the appropriate working angle.

Use the narrower or broader section of the flame profile according to the area being refined.

Step 7 – Apply Light Pressure

Guide the drill bit gently across the enhancement material.

Avoid pushing the bit aggressively against the surface. Allow the rotating filing surface to perform the work.

Step 8 – Keep the Drill Bit Moving

Use smooth and continuous movements rather than holding the rotating bit in one location.

Constant controlled movement helps produce more even refinement and minimizes concentrated friction.

Step 9 – Reduce Material Gradually

Remove enhancement material in controlled passes.

Do not attempt to remove excessive thickness in a single movement.

Step 10 – Check Progress Frequently

Pause periodically and inspect the nail's shape, thickness, balance, and remaining enhancement material.

Frequent inspection helps prevent unnecessary over-filing.

Step 11 – Refine the Sidewalls

When appropriate, use the slim Flame S profile to carefully refine compatible enhancement material around sidewalls and detailed areas.

Step 12 – Switch to a Finer Bit if Needed

After completing the main shaping or moderate product reduction, change to a Fine or Extra Fine drill bit if additional delicate smoothing or precision finishing is required.

Step 13 – Clean After Use

After completing the service, safely remove the drill bit and follow appropriate cleaning, disinfection, or sterilization procedures according to the bit material, manufacturer guidance, salon hygiene standards, and applicable professional requirements.
