    Description

Shills Professional Drill Bits 3/32" Small Flame (F) is a precision e-file accessory designed for controlled, detailed nail preparation, fine refinement, sidewall work, and professional finishing. Featuring a compact Small Flame profile and a Fine (F) filing grade, this drill bit gives nail technicians greater accuracy when working in narrow or difficult-to-reach areas where a larger barrel or standard flame bit may offer less control.

The small tapered flame shape is particularly useful when precision is more important than rapid product removal. Its narrow working profile allows the technician to approach detailed areas with greater visibility and maneuverability, while the Fine filing action provides a lighter, more controlled level of abrasion than Medium, Coarse, or Extra Coarse drill bits.

Designed with a standard 3/32-inch shank, the bit can be used with compatible professional nail drill machines and e-file handpieces that accept 3/32" accessories. It is a practical addition to a professional drill-bit collection for technicians who require a specialized bit for detailed preparation, precise refinement, finishing around enhancement edges, and controlled work along the sidewalls.

    Key Features
3/32" Standard Shank: Designed for compatible professional electric nail drills and e-file handpieces that accept 3/32-inch bits.
Small Flame Shape: Compact tapered profile provides excellent maneuverability in narrow and detailed working areas.
Fine (F) Filing Grade: Offers lighter, controlled filing performance for precision refinement rather than aggressive product removal.
Precision Sidewall Access: Small flame profile helps technicians work accurately along appropriate sidewall areas.
Detailed Nail Preparation: Useful for controlled preparation and refinement during professional manicure procedures.
Narrow Working Tip: Makes it easier to approach areas where wider drill bits may be difficult to position.
Controlled Enhancement Refinement: Helps refine small amounts of compatible enhancement material around edges and detailed areas.
Fine Finishing Performance: Suitable for lighter smoothing and finishing after stronger shaping stages.
Greater Working Visibility: Compact profile allows technicians to see the area being refined more clearly.
Professional E-File Accessory: Ideal for trained nail technicians, professional salons, beauty academies, and experienced e-file users.
Reduced Manual Filing: Helps streamline detailed refinement when used correctly as part of a professional e-file routine.
Suitable for Precision Work: Particularly useful where accuracy and control are required instead of high-speed bulk-product reduction

    How To Use

    Step 1 – Check Compatibility

Confirm that your professional nail drill or e-file handpiece accepts 3/32-inch shank drill bits.

Step 2 – Inspect the Bit

Before use, make sure the drill bit is clean, straight, undamaged, and suitable for the intended service.

Do not use a bent, cracked, damaged, or excessively worn drill bit.

    Step 3 – Switch Off the E-File

Always turn the nail drill machine off before inserting, removing, or changing a drill bit.

Step 4 – Insert the Bit Securely

Insert the 3/32" shank fully into the compatible handpiece according to the nail drill manufacturer's instructions.

Make sure the locking mechanism is properly secured before operating the machine.

Step 5 – Choose an Appropriate Speed

Start at an appropriate controlled speed according to the specific procedure, nail condition, drill machine, and your professional training.

There is no single speed that is appropriate for every nail, client, drill machine, or e-file procedure.

Step 6 – Stabilize the Working Hand

Support the client's finger securely and maintain a stable hand position before bringing the rotating bit toward the working area.

Proper stabilization improves precision and control.

Step 7 – Use Light Pressure

Guide the Small Flame bit using gentle pressure.

Avoid pressing or forcing the bit into the nail or enhancement material. Allow the rotating abrasive surface to perform the filing action.

Step 8 – Work on Detailed Areas

Use the narrow flame profile to carefully refine the appropriate sidewall, enhancement edge, or other detailed area according to the service being performed.

Step 9 – Keep the Bit Moving

    Use smooth and continuous movements.

Do not leave the rotating drill bit stationary on one area, as unnecessary friction can create heat and discomfort.

Step 10 – Check Progress Frequently

Pause regularly to inspect the working area.

Fine filing is designed to provide gradual refinement, so controlled passes are preferable to aggressive filing.

Step 11 – Remove Filing Dust

Once the e-file procedure is complete, thoroughly remove nail dust before continuing with subsequent manicure products or enhancement steps.

Step 12 – Process the Bit After Use

Clean, disinfect, or sterilize the drill bit as appropriate for its material, manufacturer instructions, salon hygiene procedures, and applicable professional requirements.
