    Description

Shills Professional Gel Brush is a precision nail application tool designed for smooth, controlled placement, spreading, shaping, and refinement of compatible builder gels, extension gels, color gels, and professional nail-art products. Created to provide nail technicians with better control than a standard bottle brush during structured gel applications, it helps distribute gel evenly across the nail surface while allowing accurate product placement around the cuticle area, sidewalls, apex, free edge, and other important structural zones.

The brush is particularly useful during gel overlays, structured manicures, nail extensions, gel reinforcement, detailed color application, and creative nail-art procedures. Its controlled brush format allows the technician to pick up an appropriate amount of gel, guide it into position, and refine the product before curing under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp.

Unlike a nail dusting brush, which removes filing residue, or a liner brush, which is mainly used for extremely fine decorative lines, a Gel Brush is designed primarily for applying, spreading, shaping, and controlling gel nail products. This makes it an important professional tool for technicians working with thicker gels that require manual placement and refinement before curing.

    Key Features
Precision Gel Application: Designed for controlled placement of compatible professional gel nail products.
Suitable for Builder Gel: Helps spread and shape builder gel during overlays and structured manicure services.
Compatible With Extension Gel: Useful when positioning and refining suitable gel products during nail extension procedures.
Suitable for Color Gel: Can assist with controlled application of compatible color gels where a separate brush is preferred.
Ideal for Structured Manicures: Helps guide gel into the correct areas when creating balanced nail architecture.
Smooth Product Distribution: Allows gel to be spread more evenly across the nail surface using gentle controlled strokes.
Detailed Cuticle-Area Control: Helps technicians approach the cuticle area accurately while maintaining a clean product margin.
Sidewall Precision: Useful for guiding gel along the sidewalls without unnecessarily flooding the surrounding skin.
Apex Shaping Support: Helps move and position compatible builder gel when creating appropriate nail structure.
Suitable for Nail Overlays: Useful for applying gel over the natural nail to create smooth, reinforced professional overlays.
Professional Nail-Art Utility: Can be incorporated into compatible gel painting, color placement, and other creative applications.
Reusable Nail Tool: Suitable for repeated professional use when properly cleaned and stored.
Salon & Training Essential: Practical for professional nail technicians, nail artists, nail academies, and experienced gel users.

    How To Use

Step 1 – Prepare the Nails

Complete appropriate nail preparation according to the gel system being used.

Shape the nails and prepare the cuticle area.

Lightly prepare the nail surface where required.

    Remove all loose nail dust.

Step 2 – Apply Required Preparation Products

Use cleanser, dehydrator, primer, or other nail-preparation products only when required by the selected gel system.

Step 3 – Apply Base Coat if Required

Apply an appropriate compatible gel base coat where required.

    Cure according to its instructions.

Step 4 – Prepare the Gel Brush

Make sure the brush is clean and free from hardened gel, dust, oil, or contamination.

The brush head should maintain its intended shape before beginning application.

Step 5 – Pick Up the Gel

Take a small, controlled amount of compatible gel using the brush.

Avoid immediately overloading the nail with excessive product.

Step 6 – Place the Gel

Position the gel onto the prepared nail according to the procedure being performed.

For builder gel applications, placement may begin around the central structural area before the product is guided into position.

Step 7 – Spread With Controlled Strokes

Use gentle strokes to guide the gel across the nail.

Avoid aggressive brushing that may create unnecessary grooves or unevenness.

Step 8 – Refine the Cuticle Area

Carefully guide the gel toward the cuticle area while maintaining a clean margin.

Do not allow uncured gel to flood onto the surrounding skin.

Step 9 – Refine the Sidewalls

Move excess product away from the sidewalls and maintain balanced coverage.

Step 10 – Build the Required Structure

For structured or builder gel services, use the brush to guide product into the required apex, stress area, or reinforcement zone.

Step 11 – Inspect Before Curing

    Check the nail from:

    Top view
    Side view
    Front view
    Cuticle angle
    Free-edge angle

Correct uneven gel while the product remains uncured.

Step 12 – Remove Gel From Skin

If uncured gel touches the surrounding skin, remove it completely before curing.

    Step 13 – Cure

Cure the applied gel under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp for the time specified by the gel manufacturer.

Step 14 – Continue the Service

Apply additional gel, color, nail art, or top coat according to the manicure system being used.

Step 15 – Clean the Brush

After completing the application, remove remaining uncured gel from the brush using an appropriate gel-brush cleaning method.

    Step 16 – Store Properly

Reshape the brush head and store it safely away from active UV/LED light.
