Unlike a top coat, which is used to seal and add shine to a completed manicure, Korean Super Grip Base Coat is applied at the beginning of the gel system, before color application. Its primary purpose is to establish a reliable adhesive layer that helps improve gel polish retention and reduces problems associated with premature lifting, peeling, and poor adhesion when properly applied.

Step 1 – Prepare the Natural Nail:
Clean and sanitize the hands and nails. Shape the free edge and carefully prepare the cuticle area. Remove dead cuticle material from the nail plate where appropriate.

Step 2 – Prepare the Nail Surface:
Gently remove surface shine according to your professional gel preparation procedure. Thoroughly remove nail dust and ensure the nail plate is clean, dry, and free from oils, creams, and other residue.

Step 3 – Apply Korean Super Grip Base Coat:
Apply a thin, controlled layer over the natural nail. Keep the product away from the cuticle and surrounding skin. Avoid applying an unnecessarily thick layer.

Step 4 – Seal the Free Edge:
Where appropriate, carefully cap the free edge to help provide complete coverage.

Step 5 – Cure:
Cure thoroughly under a compatible UV/LED nail lamp according to the recommended curing instructions for the product and lamp being used.

Step 6 – Apply Gel Color:
After curing the base coat, continue with the selected compatible gel polish. Apply the color in thin layers and cure each layer completely.

Step 7 – Complete with Top Coat:
Once the desired color or nail art is finished, apply a compatible gel top coat and cure completely to seal and finish the manicure.
