Step 1 – Prepare the Natural Nails

Clean and sanitise the hands and nails. Gently push back the cuticles and remove non-living tissue from the nail plate. Carefully buff away surface shine and thoroughly remove nail dust, oils and residue.

Step 2 – Select the Correct Tip Size

Choose the appropriate PT23-Clear tip for each nail. The tip should comfortably cover the natural nail from sidewall to sidewall without excessive pressure.

Step 3 – Prepare the Tip

Prepare or lightly etch the inside contact area of the soft gel tip according to the requirements of the gel extension system being used. Remove any resulting dust before application.

Step 4 – Apply Compatible Gel Adhesive

Apply the appropriate amount of compatible soft gel tip adhesive or extension gel to the contact area of the tip.

Step 5 – Position the Soft Gel Tip

Step 6 – Cure the Extension

Step 7 – Refine the Shape

After curing, inspect the cuticle area, sidewalls and free edge. Lightly file or refine the extension where necessary while maintaining the smooth oval silhouette.

Step 8 – Apply Gel Colour & Nail Art
